The deck and the deck plates above the waterline are built with interleaved polyester and Airex foam (foam with rigid and watertight cells that hardly absorb water over time), on vacuum infussion.. To achieve greater rigidity below the waterline, the hull is built with a laminate of stitched and chopped fiberglass, sandwiched between two layers of Coremat “felt”, all injected with isophthalic polyester resin. This non-woven polyester minimizes the absorption of the resin while providing greater rigidity. Bulkheads laminated to the hull. The cast iron keel is bolted and glued to the hull with a special reinforced design. The deck is seated to the hull with a polyurethane sealant and bolted at regular intervals
