Built on
Hull in solid GRP with KEVLAR reinforcements. Deck on PVC foam sandwich. With stress areas for deck hardware fitting in solid GRP. Hull and deck joint laminated. Bulkheads laminated on the hull.
Cast iron keel bolted to the hull.

Lay out
4 cabins and 2 heads version. 2 forward double cabins convert to an enormous single large cabin with direct access to starboard head and shower. Starboard salon with U-shaped sofa and central bench. Port side running galley. Starboard chart table. 2 double aft cabins. Port aft head with shower.

Rigging/Sails
Rigged in masthead sloop. 2 spreaders steps. Furling mainsail. Furling genoa. PROFURL Genoa furler.

Soliane has sailed the Mediterranean since her launch in 1999.
The hugely successful design from Philip Briand and Jeanneau shipyard.  600 units were sold before the company changed the construction criteria to trend the charter market.   Solaine is a true racer cruiser! She is an example of how a superior design and construction standard can live on through the years when properly used and maintained!
The current owner searched the globe before settling on Soliane.  A mariner with a life-time of ocean experience, he has over 85,000 nm of blue water sailing experience – effectively circumnavigating the globe 4 times.  Soliane was purchased as a liveaboard for his own family and fully outfitted for to this end.
Between 2018 and 2023 every aspect of the is vessel has been reviewed and upgraded.  You will not find a vessel as ready to sail as Soliane.  No surprises a month after purchase!!

Maintenance
Yearly engine serviced and antifouling, last one in March 2023.
The boat has been completely refitted since 2018, overhauled engine, standing rigging, sails, floors, interiors, etc….
Hull bottom scrapped, anodes and antifouling in 2023,2021, 2019, 2018.

2023 4 AGM 140Ah service batteries replaced, complete cooker gas system replaced, regulator, hoses, controls.
